Michael Rosenfeld Gallery and Jeffrey Deitch are pleased to announce Bob Thompson and Karon Davis, a two-artist exhibition presented in a collaborative booth at Art Basel Paris. Revealing the many resonances between the artists' practices, the exhibition will feature a standout selection of paintings and works on paper by Bob Thompson (1937–1966) alongside five new sculptures by contemporary sculptor Karon Davis (b.1977). Commenting on the two-person presentation, Davis stated: "Bob Thompson creates worlds of myth, legends and adventure. It is a place where old masters live with new world ideas. I am honored to play in his imagination and share characters that may live in these worlds."
